I do training online using screen-sharing technology. So nobody has to leave home to do it.
INDIVIDUAL
We do a real or hypothetical project like a petition and I walk you through it pointing the way and answering questions as they come up. Since your fingers do the work you remember better what we did.
GROUP
I schedule an online meeting where you watch my screen and we are in conference by phone or over the internet. I present ways of doing common tasks and answer questions. It works best to have a loose agenda of requests and questions defined in advance.
DISCUSSION or FORUM
I schedule an online meeting and the participants raise topics and carry on a discussion. The “presenter screen” may be passed among those participating if someone needs/wants to show and tell from their computer. I serve as the organizer and moderator.
